Key. Angel Beats. Visual Novel.

ppp_2013092720063765b

Hey everybody, Tay here.  Remember this post?  It’s time, people.  It’s time.

According to Yaraon, Key will be releasing an Angel Beats-spinoff Visual novel in 2014.   Dengeki G’s October issue will bring us more updates soon (get the issue’s teaser info here).  If you love Angel Beats, and love Key, then this announcement is welcome news indeed.  For erogue fans out there hoping for mapo tofu-spiced content — please note that we’re talking about Key, here.  The game will be all-ages.

(Excited? We are, too! Try to remember that an English translation of the game is far, far off.  If this game will motivate you, consider learning Japanese!)

I’m thinking of starting japanese lessons next year, but it takes 8 whole years to be completed D; the 2 years program (the one here) is good, but I couldn’t get myself to do it ;_; seems like I’m the type that learns more in group, rather than alone ;A; so, I’ll still have to stick to waiting for translations :’c

You don’t need 8 years to read VNs. If you spend at least one hour per day, you can learn enough vocab to read typical moege in like 6 months.

What I meant was for learning the entire language, taking the official exams and getting a degree at Japanese xD but you’re right, I hadn’t thought that I would learn the basic knowledge to read visual novels in less time. Sometimes, the most obvious things just slip out of my mind @@

To be honest, I don’t see how Key must mean all ages. AIR and Kanon were R-rated, after all, and so is Tomoyo After.

Key doesn’t need to rely on eroge like they used to. Really their h-scenes suck anyway. That’s how I see it, at least.

To be honest, imo Key isn’t cut out for eroges(both character wise and art wise). During the h-scenes in LB!EX my eyes(and heart) were practically bleeding. Maybe my opinion is a bit biased since LB! is my first VN. Haven’t read AIR or Tomoyo After though

Tomoyo After was a good read once you got past the ridiculous number of sex scenes in the first 20 minutes or so.

I haven’t read any R18 versions of Key’s titles.

Other than Tomoyo After, that is.

Love Angel Beats! but wish it’s R-18 because All age is just not enough XD Thanks for the news! (must be R-18 or they can release 2 version 1 is All age and 1 is R-18~)

If because its Key means its all ages then Key never made 4 of their games, but that does not matter either way i want it.

Oh great KEY, I ask thee to bestow upon us your miraculous waves of enjoyment, enlightenment and all things good.

Be it R-18 or All-ages, your work will certainly be great and therefore we wait in excitement and hope.
