This week’s header image comes from two of our three releases: Ayakashi Gohan! (VNDB) and Maki Fes! (VNDB). The third release is lacking in useable graphics (when we omit an image from the header, that’s usually why)
VNTS (Visual Novel Translation Status Updates Series) is published each Saturday and brings the latest updates from VN translation projects — both licensed and by fans — from around the net. If you find any errors, or you think a project is missing from this list, please let us know in the comments.
From The Team: There is a lot of interesting news this week. Obviously our three releases get the limelight: we have Ayakashi Gohan!, Maki Fes!, and Ochiru Hitozuma. Another cool thing to happen this week: Anniversary no Kuni no Alice got a new partial patch which includes the not-stay (NS) routes of three characters (Elliot, Peter, and Julius). Still waiting on Grisaia news. Hope everyone is staying sane during finals season. Best of luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor! – Tay

Zakabox™ 「This is the place where Zaka occasionally shares his wisdom. Will he show up this week? Will he have anything to say? Only time will tell.」
Decay’s MusingsThis is where Decay usually imparts a bunch of smart thinks to the rest of us serfs.
TAYsteful Thoughts™A big ole warm Congratulations! to the teams which released patches this week. Our very own Zaka contributed to Maki Fes!, no less, so I’m assuming now he’ll be able to put all of that time and energy into Hearthstone. Or, y’know, running the Fuwa blog. Or helping with VNTS. All good options.
Boring VNTS scheduling head’s up: next week’s post should go up as usual. The week after that (5/6) will be done by Decay, as I’ll be off in Neverland. The week following that, 5/13, may came a day or two late (so late on the 13th or on Sunday the 14th) due to crazy schedules. The week following that, 5/19, may also come a day late (Sat 19th or Sun 20th) due to traveling and generalized life chaos in the Tay camp.
One of my worst habits is using VNTS to give Fuwanovel updates. Well, sorry, here we go again. I’m hoping to get to the backlog of game releases on the front site by the end of May. I’ve been doing international research for a while, and life hasn’t allowed me to spend much time on the Ole Ship Fuwa.
One VNTS reader recently asked me to provide some data for use in a college statistics report, and as I have no other way of getting in touch with them, I shall simply say here that the Dropbox link I sent you should now work. A note to other students: I wont have time over the next month or so to do any data crunching or help in research, so please don’t email me. I’ll feel bad, and I still won’t be able to help you. Your best bet is to email me in June.
Have a good week, everybody!
Thanks for your work on these every week.
Btw 5/19 is a friday not a saturday.
You forgot to mention the release of Charming Empire, another otome title, on Steam:

I’m pretty sure VNTS doesn’t follow translations that are done by companies in-house.
…That didn’t have a tracker.
…That didn’t have a timeline.
Those have never been tracked, as far as I know.
We do, we just miss things sometimes that don’t have any of these because they fly under the radar. Thanks for the heads up, ChaosRaven.

new translation tho ?
Old translation, different platform.
What kind of data do they ask you for?
Apologies for the lack of commentary these last couple weeks. I will try my damnedest to make sure there’s some next week!
Thanks for the update.
Did you, perhaps, forgot about sleeping giant, JAST, and its most hotly anticipated release – update on Nympho Sensei Ryoko?
My VNTS Review for this week, and sorry for being late here again. Anyway, enjoy the review below.

PS – By the way, I’m waiting for Maya’s patch here.
I dunno if this is the best place to post it, but has anyone else had issues getting the Maki Fes patch to work on Windows 10? I have my locale set to Japanese, and it installs fine but when I start it up after copying the patch over it still reads in Japanese. The title bar for the window reads MakiFes! and the bottom left of the title screen says EngTL v1, so I know that it recognizes the patch is there, but I can’t for the life of me get it to show in English. I’ve tried changing the font, uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting saves and everything but nothing changes. A friend of mine has it working on Windows 7 so the only issue we could think of would be with Windows 10. Any help would would be great
You might have only extracted one of the two patch files or something, is what I can think of. I know it’s cumpatible with win10, since that’s what I use.
Collar X Malice will launch both physically and digitally for PS Vita in North America and Europe this summer (sauce: http://gematsu.com/2017/04/collar-x-malice-launches-summer-west)
