From The Team: We have a lot of releases this week, and I have a feeling many of them will prove controversial. Headlining the releases is MiKandi Japan’s Libra of the Vampire Princess, the translation of which hasn’t been winning over many readers. Dargoth released the final patch for Part 1 of Monster Girl Paradox, which I know many are looking forward to. And then, of course, we have an absolutely huge drop from George Henry Shaft, consisting of four VNs in the Harvest December series, its fandisk Perfect December, with two VNs to top things off: Carnival of the Sacred Souls and Ludesia: Spidering and Scraping. Misc. Projects
I’m of the opinion that George Henry Shaft is crazy, but while I’ve heard his Cross Channel tl wasn’t good, his Hanahira TL seemed perfectly fine.
Oh, and if you liked the original Monster Girl Quest, then try Paradox. While the battle system isn’t very unique being typical RPG maker fare, the amount of customization involved in the Job/Race system and the amount of main story and side story content is insane. Not everything is translated, but that’s only H-scenes and really insignificant dialog.
It’s kind of hard to screw up Hanahira since it’s so thoroughly simple. I guess the hardest part would be to have the writing chops needed to make the cute dialogue actually cute and entertaining, and not transform it into a soulless and boring ordeal, as is so easy to do in translation. I haven’t read Hanahira so I don’t know how well GHS does at that particular aspect, but considering the opinions on translation he has voiced, I’d be surprised if the writing was as cute as it should have been.
His Cross Channel TL was definitely a disaster, and this new stuff looks pretty bad, too.

There seems to be tech issues with BB3 that did not exist with BB2. It doesn’t seem very likely that the previous games’ translator, Aroduc, will ever translate BB3 as well.
