From The Team: Three releases and the surprise announcement of JAST BLUE: a BL-focused publishing arm of JAST USA. Their first project, Sweet Pool, is being translated from scratch and will not use the Fan TL project. So, yeah, it’s a pretty hefty week of news. – Tay

In other news, as you can see above, Dracu-Riot is in QA! Myself and the rest of the crew at The Oxford Comma is Superior Subs have finished our role on DR sometime last week. It’s a huge relief finally finishing a project that at some points felt like would last an eternity. And to celebrate I started clearing up my massive VN backlog already started my next project. Oops. Maybe I’ll have some time to do things in like six to eight months…
Hech… You guys are fast… I forgot to publish the progress for Pure Pure, so here it is:
Chapter 4: 19,72% -> 35,21%
Total progress: 58,76% -> 62,24%
Had a week off so I kept translating all the time and this is the result.
Just a note, Magical Marriage Lunatics from MG has entered beta testing.

JAST is going to translate Sweet Pool when the Fan TL is finally almost done …. oh well back to the waiting game 😛 but JAST having a BL branch it’s great, specially if they release everything from Nitro+Chiral ^^ i guess since Sweet Pool it’s also getting a PSV version they might release a not R18 version on Steam ? though i’m not sure how one does a not R18 of that game, since is almost Saya no Uta levels of gore & porn
Just a quick question: Does anyone know what happened to the Angel Beats translation?
VisualArts hasn’t said anything about it for the last eighteen or so months. Maybe it’s canceled, maybe it’s delayed, who knows. We removed it from the list because it seemed like there was a good chance that it is either canceled or not coming out for a very long time.
How come we’ve heard nothing from Sol Press about Sakura Sakura since the last update just before christmas, but they haven’t been able to shut up about Newton and the Apple Tree since getting it backed. I would have thought you’d get your first community backed project completed first and then move on to your second.
