As a follow-up to the recently released HD Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy — which will be releasing on Xbox Game Pass on September 26th — and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, CAPCOM announced that it will also be releasing an HD bundle of the three games in the long-running courtroom battle series starring Apollo Justice on January 25th, 2024. As with the previous ports, this trilogy will release on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy
Originally released for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy covers the fourth, fifth, and sixth entries to the series, which take place seven years after the original trilogy and follow the titular fledgling defense attorney as well as several other mainstays of the series.
Court cases are now decided in a few days, and you are tasked with finding evidence to prove the innocence of your clients by utilizing your deduction skills alongside some powerful perception skills.
Alongside updated HD graphics, this release will include an “Orchestra Hall,” which includes a full soundtrack of all three titles plus several orchestral arrangements (a total of 175 songs) that you can listen to while chibi versions of the characters perform.
There will also be an art library containing all sorts of materials old and new alike. Finally, the trilogy will feature an “Animation Studio,” which is a much more optimized version of the popular objection.lol that will allow you to create your own scenes in the Phoenix Wright universe. I, for one, am excited to see all the new “Phoenix Wrong” covers made using this tool.
This version will also include the bonus episodes and costumes that were either paid DLC or pre-order bonuses for Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Coming to Xbox Game Pass!
It was announced during the Xbox Livestream at Tokyo Game Show 2023 that the original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which covers the first, second, and third entries to the series, will release on September 26th via Xbox Game Pass.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is now available for pre-order via CAPCOM and via Steam.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is available for purchase through console game stores, as well as on Steam. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is also available via Steam and digitally on console game stores.
The most important question now is: When are the Ace Attorney Investigations (1 and 2) games going to get their time in the spotlight? I suppose only time will tell.
