During Aniplex Online Fest, TYPE-MOON announced that Mahoutsukai no Yoruwill be available on Steamon December 14th. The previous release of the game came out on PS4 and Switch($39.99) in December 2022. This is a remaster of the original release from 2012. Unlike the original, the game is fully voiced in Japanese. Furthermore, the release features the following languages for text: English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
Kinoko Nasu originally developed Mahoutsukai no Yoru (or Witch of the Holy Night) as a novel. TYPE-MOON, the company Nasu founded, later adapted it into a visual novel. The story shares themes and settings present in his other works, such as Fate/stay night and Tsukihime. The game expands on Nasu’s unique worldbuilding and explores themes and characters present in his other series.
