What on earth could be done that would make visual novels more accessible in the west?
1.) Visual novels in the browser?
2.) Visual novels on Steam?
3.) More accurate machine translator?
…or is this just one game?

As long as it’s about western dev’s, maybe there’s more of a need to focus on spreading the word about visual novels to people (not only fans) as a part of culture, than creating another decent western title, or vn-centric community? Also, making a distinction beetwen “oelvn’s” and original japanese vn’s was the first and last mistake, that made things more confusing. This term became a carrier of something associated mostly with a failed, poorly fan-made imitations.
Aeru – I’m not exactly sure what are you trying to do, but let’s hope it’ll bring more good, than bad. Other than this, I might support that, whatever it will be. We need some kind of breakthrough to get us out of that stagnation. KS is a good start and there’s more to come…

Aedes , do you really see a loli in the middle? i don’t know, she looks like a child to me … maybe the daughter of the character embracing her. Do you think they look like more sisters than mother and daughter?
