Last November 29th, Idea Factory International announced the English localization of their otome game Cupid Parasite -Sweet & Spicy Darling.-.
The game has finally released for our western readers on May 28th.
This is the fandisc of the otome Cupid Parasite, released by Otomate in 2020.
Otomate is the otome-centric development arm of Idea Factory and is famous for releasing multiple otome series such as Hakuoki, HameFura, and Shuuen no Virche.

Story
Los York, a glitzy trendsetting town, was where our heroine descended.
Her true identity was that of the real goddess of love, Cupid.
While working for a major marriage agency named Cupid Corporation, she strived to become the top bridal advisor. She was assigned five hopeless clients known as the Parasite 5!
Even after guiding them through mock dates, matchmaking seminars, and the reality show “Parasite House,” all five abruptly canceled their memberships!
Yet their departures brought all their personal challenges to the surface.
As she confronted these issues with them, they overcame many unexpected obstacles…
And she fell in love with “him.”
“I solemnly swear that I will love you so that you always smile. I will protect you for as long as I live.”
This is the continued love story of the goddess of love, Cupid, experiencing love firsthand.
It’s the tale of when she becomes a goddess “only” for him.

While embarking on her new life, her perspective on work and personal life changed alongside her partner’s. Her current hobby is watching the video streaming service called “YooQube.”

He joined Cupid Corp to overcome a heart shattered by a two-year-long unrequited love. That was when he crossed paths again with the woman who broke his heart: our heroine. She remained oblivious to his lingering affections. After a series of misunderstandings, heartfelt letters, and shared moments soaring the skies, they finally entered a relationship. In the concluding scene, they celebrated their union, marrying amidst the blessings of loved ones before setting off on their honeymoon. Their journey takes them to his birthplace, Boltamore. But what awaits them there?

As they spent time together, he was drawn to both her passion for work and her values, which had nothing to do with prestige. Despite the nature of their contract, genuine feelings blossomed between them. In the climax, they celebrated with a grand wedding at the company’s headquarters, marking the start of their authentic marital journey!
Case 03: Former(?) Obsessed Parasite x Mythology Collector and One-of-a-Kind Action Star

After an epic journey, he chose the final scene to propose to our heroine. He later announced their relationship on the red carpet. But…it isn’t so easy for an acclaimed action star to get married!
Case 04: Former(?) Glamor Parasite x Beauty Perfectionist and Harsh Fashion Designer

A renowned fashion designer hailing from the esteemed Keisaiin fashion dynasty. He unveiled his specialty “rYUKI” clothing line and recently ventured into women’s fashion. His older sister registered him with Cupid Corp without telling him, and that’s where he met our heroine. After they continued meeting and butting heads, he developed the courage to pursue his true passion. Amidst uncertainty and anxiety, he felt the stirrings of love for the first time, spurring both professional and personal growth. In the climax, on New Year’s Eve at the age of 20, he proposed to our heroine, and they happily became engaged! All that is left is to get married!
Case 05: Former Thieving Parasite x Treasure/Woman Hunter and Pillow Specialist

A senior employee at the 9th Avenue designer bedding boutique, Pillow Luxuria, he is part of a team that crafts custom pillows. These bespoke creations earned a reputation for providing unparalleled sleep, making them a hit among celebrities and the wealthy. Unknown to most, he was an incubus with a mission that required him to persuade our heroine to fall for someone else. Yet fate had other plans. A stray shot from Cupid’s Arrow made our heroine fall for him, binding them as lovers for 30 days. Torn between his obligations and newfound emotions, their relationship deepened. As the tale unfolded, our heroine became a fallen god and turned into a demon, and they began walking toward the same future together. The climax? A quiet, yet solemn wedding that wasn’t simply for “pretend” takes place…

A gentleman who’s worn many hats, including working as the assistant director on the marriage-hunting reality TV show Parasite House, or as an intern for Cupid Corp. He held the camera upside down, tripped over electrical cords, destroyed the paper shredder, and got skittish at any loud noise. But his true identity…is the leader of the Dii Consentes, Jupiter. He had descended to the Human Realm together with our heroine to learn the ways of humanity, but Cupid’s Arrow misfired and hit him, causing him to fall in love with her. They then experienced a short-lived relationship of 30 days. These two gods experienced their first kiss and first love together. But a major disaster struck and threw the Human Realm into turmoil. With the help of Parasite 6, they managed to save the world. In the final scenes, the empty position of the goddess of marriage, Juno, would be filled by our heroine as they came together in matrimony. A new mythology with the two gods is about to begin!
Case 07: Destiny Parasite x Let Destiny Guide You: Sweet Tooth Fortune Teller

A fortune teller who’s become the talk of social media. He sets up shop in the up-and-coming tourist hotspot on 8th Avenue, though you have to be lucky to find him. He loves donuts from “Mow Donuts” on 7th Avenue and even incorporates them into his readings. His days were predictable, unfolding without any surprises. But when he meets our heroine, he’s stumped by his inability to see her future. This mysterious void sets his own predestined journey into motion. Drawn to her, he joins Cupid Corp. But for every matchmaking tip she offers, he remains steadfast in his belief that destiny cannot be changed. Soon, whispers spread that he’ll join the notorious ranks of the Parasite 5.
