From The Team: It’s me, Tay! I’m alive! It’s been over a month since I led the charge on a VNTS post. In fact, for the last few weeks, Decay has done the posts entirely solo. We owe him a huge debt of gratitude. RL issues have plagued me since mid-November, and literally didn’t let up until 11:59PM last night. (We think the post was made Backers-Only to protect the download link, not the actual text.) What a pathetic way to release a 18+ version, god. Light couldn’t at least end everything decently.
So the Dies Irae patch breaks the Amantes Amentes content? Do I understand that right?
@tahu157, the “patch” is not a patch. It is an earlier version of the game, that has the 18+ content, (it was released that way originally,) but because it is an older version, it does NOT have the new route and the extra scenarios that Amantes does.
So, for the full experience you should play Acta (the 18+ version,) and then the Amantes scenes, or Amantes, and then the 18+ scenes in Acta. playing simply one won’t give you everything, sadly.
For anyone who wants to skip through a route quickly so that you can play Acta right away: You can use F7 to skip to the next choice, and with that, you can easily skip an entire route in about 1 minute. If you are afraid of spoilers, it is possible to navigate through choices with the arrow keys and enter, so you can look away and move through the choices with those keys to eliminate the chance of spoilers. Once you get past the last choice, you’ll be brougth back to the main menu. Then you’ll be safe from spoilers, and you can now open Acta normally.
But it IS a patch to the Amantes. Literally xD
So he probably means that it’ll somehow block the new content which is an infinitely idiotic way to implement the 18+ content.
So, we are not going to see H-scenes when we are supposed to right? Example: Let’s say you are reading through heroine A’s route. When there should be a H-scene you continue without able to see it because the patch is not a +18 Amentes amentes patch like we thought but its Acta est Fabula. So, you only able to view H-scene after you finish route of heroine A, not when you are supposed to see it (when you are reading through her route). Did I get it right?
Btw, I suppose Amentes amentes just removes H-scenes right? Just how much related they are to story? Will I be okay if I just read Amentes amentes?
Er, no, if you play the Acta Est Fabula version, the h-scenes are where they’re supposed to be. What won’t show up are the extra scenes Amantes amantes added.
Amantes amantes did more than remove h-scenes. They replaced a lot of them with new scenes, they added new side-stories to the game, and they also added a new true route (branching off the Rea route). None of that will be in the 18+ Acta Est Fabula version.
Yeah, but Acta Est Fabula doesn’t unlock until you finish one route right? So, unless you skip at least your first route you will not see H-scenes where you supposed to see them right?
As for the routes after first one, you have to try finding them without being spoiled in Acta Est Fabula edition and save at the beginning of H-scene, switch back amentes amentes edition (you can’t read only Acta Est Fabula because you don’t want to miss scenes added for amentes amantes), when you reach where H-scene should be go to your save and read H-scene and when you finish H-scene go back to Amentes Amentes continue reading until you reach a new H-scene where its supposed to be and repeat this for all H-scenes, if you want to read them at correct moment.
Of course I know the additions. What I have asked is Amentes amentes did remove more than H-scenes or not? And how significant H-scenes are to story?
There was one CG with boobs that had the boobs covered up in the Amantes amantes version, otherwise I believe there is no other censorship.
The h-scenes are not even remotely important to the story. Anything that was even slightly significant from them was carried over into the h-scene replacement scenes.
Yes, hapymaher translation has finished, I’m been looking forward to this ViN for quite some time. So happy right now.
As for Hapymaher, according to them what’s left is that they’ll waiting for Purple Software to tweak their engine, then after it was finished they’ll test it with the English version of Hapymaher. Hopefully it won’t take long time.

Anyway, too bad though that we got Miagete release was without 18+ scenes although it’s not like that we lot much though, because we’ll going to see many interesting releases for next week. As for Dies Irae, from what I see actually they could did that like Eien no Aselia Special, but instead they chose to just translated the older version of Dies Irae which is quite not the best solution if I may say.
