This week’s header image comes from Harumade, Kururu. (Sumikko Soft) which will receive an official version (18+ and all-ages).
VNTS (Visual Novel Translation Status Updates Series) is published each Saturday and brings the latest updates from VN translation projects — both licensed and by fans — from around the net. If you find any errors, or you think a project is missing from this list, please let us know in the comments.

From The Team: Happy New Year (again) everyone! I don’t know about you, but my life has taken some rapid and strange turns in 2017. Anyone else having a crazy start to 2017? By way of announcements, just be aware that my RL craziness has delayed the launch of some stuff (surveys, the original VN tracker, etc.), but you’ll see them soon. Assuming, of course, I can get reliable internet access.

Other Projects
[wpdatatable id=284]I’ll also do a “VNs of 2017” post sometime in the next week like I did last year. An unfortunate amount of titles will repeat again this year. I’d say that I’ll try better this year, but I’m not really sure what I can do better, considering the number of >80% projects that didn’t make it. Time to bust out the tarot cards and engage in some good old divination? I suppose that almost everything official that’s announced is actually really likely to release this year, just because they’re further along than last year’s titles. I guess we’ll see.
Next week we will be conducting our new year’s VNTS purge. I think we’ll likely have a lot fewer removed projects than we did last year. There’s still a few we’re eyeballing, though. The most painful removal might be Brother Conflict Passion Pink. Anyone know what’s going on with that? There hasn’t been an update in a year, yet it’s at 100%. It’s always sad to see a project fall apart so close to the finish line, so I hope they’re actually still alive and close to release.
Anyway, that’s it for us. Closing off with the Twitch Stream of the Week, enjoy some robot love.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1481952312185{border-right-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-left-width: 1px !important;border-left-color: #673ab8 !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #673ab8 !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #673ab8 !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;border-radius: 1px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]TAYsteful Thoughts™You know, looking at the color and typography of these posts, I’ve gotta hand it to myself: the shade of purple I picked is pretty damn fabulous. It’s a great color in general — my favorite, truth be told — but this shade… Mmmmm. There’s just something about it. Dignified. Understated. Regal.
How did y’all celebrate the New Year? Do anything fun? Well, until next time. Have a good week, everybody![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Thanks for the weekly effort you guys put in to deliver VNTS, its always helpful.
I’m almost done reading Steins:Gate, two more endings to go and i got to say i’m really enjoying the read, the story and characters are engaging and the story is so compelling that i find it hard to stop. It’s also caused my food intake to decrease and coffee intact to increase lol! bad combo!
I’m wondering if you guys know if Steins 0 will have an official release for Windows? Any announcements about it since its release for consoles and vita? Likely or unlikely? Considering how knowledgeable you guys are about VN releases, i’ll appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks guys!
There’s no English release for Steins Gate 0 unfortunately (Officially), although there is Japanese version of Steins Gate 0 for PC though. And if you want English PC version for Steins Gate 0, there’s is a patch for import the translation from PSv or PS3 version to PC version. Hope this’ll be help.
Another company randomly anounces they are going to enter the English market? Interesting, I wonder what localizing company they will work with. I sure hope not SP.
Where is the TBAC annoncement about his canceled fan translation?
In a Discord PM to me. :p
This week VNTS Review from mine, and quite lacking if looking for updates there.

what happened to the top sekrit projects of sekai project?
LOVE the purple your using 🙂
Well, now that I noticed who wrote this comment, I suppose we have to change it.

Er, no no, I changed my mind … I actually find it really horrible. Worst colour ever 🙁
according to Stream, Nightshade is gonna release in spring ^^ (http://steamcommunity.com/games/512180/announcements/detail/614011511166252028)
it’s gonna be a spring full of otome, all thanks to the big otome
I dunno Tay, I’d say it’s more of an indigo than a purple. But yes! An otome spring just in time for the end of a rather grueling semester. Ugh, why can’t things I want to learn be easier to understand?
work hard on your studies so when spring comes you will be rewarded with all otome beauty, then you will manage to survive the rest of the year (while waiting for the other games of course) ^^
Someone started on a Hatsukoi 1/1 translation: https://tsurezurescans.wordpress.com/2017/01/07/new-project-hatsukoi-11-vn-translation-prologue-patch/
update on the Anniversary no Kuni no Alice patch (https://marchentranslations.wordpress.com/2017/01/08/happy-new-year-and-patch-update/)
now with 7/11 of routes
God, years waiting for the Tenshiranman traslation. Now we are almost finally there.
I can’t wait for read the Sana’s and Aoi’s routes.
Does anyone know about the release of The Labyrinthe of Grisaia +18 ? Wasn’t it supposed to be release in December ?
There was an update a couple weeks ago. It was postponed to early this year, presumably sometime this month.
And the Dies Irae PR team made the campaign almost fail again, thank from a tweet of light this last night. Seriously, i would not back this campaign because of the PR Team, i also removed my pledge.
If you’re referring to the $10k drop, be aware that the consensus is that this was due to a troll pledger. Pretty much all signs point to one person who periodically raised their pledge over the course of several days. Over the last week, there were several $1k+ pledges made with no new backers, and no one upgrading to higher tiers (this is all trackable). Then when the tweet happened, every one of those pledges went away almost immediately, with no one else dropping out for a while after.
So basically: Someone decided to create a panic by faking pledges and pulling them all at once, just to fuck with the campaign. If you decided to pull your pledge because of this, then you’re basically doing exactly as they wanted. Ultimately, when you back the Dies irae Kickstarter, you aren’t backing the disastrously awful PR team, you’re backing Dies irae itself. Pulling your pledge because the PR team made a blunder is your prerogative, but I would urge you to reconsider what you wanted out of the Kickstarter and whether you still wish to help achieve it.
