This week’s header image comes from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, which just received a demo on PS4, PSVita, and Steam.
VNTS (Visual Novel Translation Status Updates Series) is published each Saturday and brings the latest updates from VN translation projects — both licensed and by fans — from around the net. If you find any errors, or you think a project is missing from this list, please let us know in the comments.
From The Team: Apologies for the late VNTS. I have been busy with family-related stuff and Tay has lost his internet connection. Still, we’ll try our hardest to get you your weekly VNTS! That said, next week will be difficult to make that happen. I am loath to miss a week but that might happen next weekend. – Decay

Zakabox™ 「This is the place where Zaka occasionally shares his wisdom. Will he show up this week? Will he have anything to say? Only time will tell.」
Decay’s MusingsAgain, apologies for the late VNTS. Next week I’ll be gone for the entire weekend. It’s possible that I’ll have internet connection for some of that time but I don’t think it’s likely that I’ll be able to contribute. If Tay doesn’t have his internet restored by then, next week could be the first VNTS missed in years. Hey, at least that’s a pretty good streak! After next week, my life should be a bit more normal.
I’m really excited about Muv Luv Alternative. I have my code but haven’t delved in yet, and probably won’t be able to get too deep into it until after next week at the earliest. Still though, I never actually finished MLA and I’m excited to finally do so. I’ll talk more about it then, including its new translation which seems rather great.
Does anyone happen to know what happened to Elevator Translations and their Lovely x Cation project? Quof at Dekiru Translations is doing LxC now which is great, but I can’t tell what happened to the old team. Is it safe to assume that their translation will never see the light of day?
Anyway, I don’t want to ramble on and stall this post for much longer. Have a good week, everyone!
Dam, NIS translating Danganronpa.
It’s the fourth time it happens.
You forgot two otome releases:
Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds (http://store.steampowered.com/app/589530/Hakuoki_Kyoto_Winds/)
Les Fleursword (http://store.steampowered.com/app/689650/Les_Fleursword/) though the translation is machine gibberish from what I’ve heard
We covered Kyoto Winds when it first released for other platforms, and we generally don’t cover ports done long after release. Thanks for the heads up about that though, I didn’t know it had a Steam release.
For Les Fleursword, this was something I was going to cover in the commentary but then didn’t: We decided to not cover any zero-effort machine-translated garbage Steam releases. This happened first because there were several rather bad Chinese to English machine translations released on Steam in quick succession, and then SakuraGame started dumping all of their zero-effort garbage onto Steam. It feels bad expending the effort to cover them and we don’t want to give them promotion. We won’t be covering any SakuraGame release unless we have good reason to believe that they have been translated into English by actual humans with a decent understanding of JP and EN.
I’m pretty sure Dekiru is assisting them or at least that’s what he said. After he finishes he says he is moving on to Lovely x Caution 2
Here’s my VNTS Review that I wrote early. Enjoy.

Unfortunately for last week there’s no much that I could talk here, but then again perhaps it’s the breather week before two big releases at this Thursday (Hopefully), Saku Saku and Subahibi.
Oh, and I knew that the image header was from Dangan Ronpa but here I decided to use my title ‘Sakura Cupid’, because actually it could be fitting title for this week if Sekai didn’t delay Saku Saku release.
Apparently this week VNTS was delayed because the problem there was quite severe, so I thought to make an early VNTS Review here below. Enjoy, even if the title was a mess here.

Another absent VNTS here I see, although if the reason was Irma then it couldn’t be help I guess especially when Tay was in Carribean (The damage was severe from what I saw at the internet news). So here’s my VNTS Review for this week, and enjoy even if VNTS here was absent.

PS – Hope Tay here managed to make VNTS next week here.
