Today, Shiravune — publisher of Utawarerumono series and the PRIMAL HEARTS series — released the AQUAPLUS classic WHITE ALBUM: Memories like Falling Snow.
Announced last June, the game is a remake of the original WHITE ALBUM released in 1998. The all-ages remake features full voice acting, additional scenarios, and higher-definition artwork, as well as an extra route.
It is important to mention that the stories in WHITE ALBUM andWHITE ALBUM 2 are not, in fact, related. They are from the same series, but they do not share stories, characters, nor writers – they do use the same universe though.
While WHITE ALBUM 2 is quite acclaimed and popular by itself, WHITE ALBUM is rather obscure, even if it does have an anime adaptation.
WHITE ALBUM is about love in many forms.
Touya Fujii is an ordinary college student but for one thing:

The original scenario was written by Harada Woodai (ToHeart), while the remake’s additional scenarios were contributed by talents including Makura Nagare (ToHeart2, Tears to Tiara), Marui Takeshi (ToHeart2, Tears to Tiara, Utawarerumono 2 and 3), and Suzumoto Yuuichi (CLANNAD, planetarian). Longtime AQUAPLUS fans will also recognize Kawata Hisashi (ToHeart 1 and 2) for his art and Suara (Tears to Tiara, Utawarerumono) for her vocals in the opening song.
The game will be available in English and Traditional Chinese upon release. Wishlist it now on Steam, or preorder the game on Johren for a discounted price of $22.49 (regional prices may vary).
