Hello, dear readers! Fujo here~
This is a new kind of post I decided to have here on the website. Basically, it’s a recap of past week’s articles (may contain added commentary!) for people who can’t keep up with everything.
‘Last week’ will cover from last Monday (the 13th) to yesterday (the 18th)—just so we’re all on the same page. Glancing over, we… have a lot to cover! We posted exactly 20 articles; no wonder we’re reaching the 50+ count these past two months.
Monday (Nov. 13)
This one was a nice surprise. I haven’t played older titles that much—in fact, I think I’ve only played one (I have a review in the works, I just haven’t had the time to focus on it)—and although I don’t think dating sims or romance-focused stories are that appealing to me, the art sure is. I just love the aesthetic these games have, content be damned.
It seems Shinzou Translations has been very active lately, huh? This one looks cute and it’s tagged as horror (even if it’s a low tag), so I might add this to my TBR… sigh, it’ll never get shorter, will it?
Tuesday (Nov. 14)
I covered this, but I haven’t actually watched the first season nor have I read Maitetsu. Maybe I will one of these days, who knows. Hubb would certainly enjoy it… (lol)
Anyway, it’s short and it’s moe: what more could you ask for?
Now here’s one VN I’m curious to play. At first, I was indifferent to it, but as I covered this for the website, it grew on me. I’m not super into these types of stories but I might check it out (and review it.)
This one is sure to be a big release for Muv-Luv fans. I haven’t played Muv-Luv yet, though it’s staring at me from my Steam account…
Wednesday (Nov. 15)
Oh hey, this sounds familiar! If you are interested in the Translation Status of JVNs, check this one out. This week’s VNTS is to release tomorrow (let’s hope so.)
I haven’t had the time to pay attention to this, but it seems we’re full of good-looking titles.
Death Trick: Double Blind‘s art got me. It’s the cute circus boy—my weak spot. I will never recover.
Enjoy the Diner‘s fisheye perspective was what made me look twice at the game. The art is simple, but disturbing, which is just my type.
Urban Myth Dissolution Center looks amazing and it seems to be quite creepy and tense. Just my thing!
Thursday (Nov. 16)
I’m not a huge fan of nukige but cute boys? Sign me up!
Unfortunately, it is only available behind a paywall for Patreon supporters, welp.
We have a new writer and his name is TheGrimLord! His focus is mostly on AVNs (aka the 3D Western-looking VNs) and he debuted with a thinkpiece on this genre.
Friday (Nov. 17)
The Monmusu Quest series have always made me curious, if not for the whole femdom perspective.
Sadly, I’m not a gamer (derrogative) and probably never will be. My body and sight are not what they used to be.
I’m trying to be frugal when it comes to my TBR and so I was thinking of skipping this… but actually, I might not, if only for the soundtrack’s composer (Kara no Shoujo and many others.)
I had fun making the cover (and headings) for this one. This released back in June but we finally have our own review!
Saturday (Nov. 18)
Now this is one I might actually play. I’ve always been interested in the yandere archetype but never seem to find many well-executed yandere characters, so I hope this is one I can appreciate.
Well, I finally managed to get this one out. It’s a short review as it is still a demo, but I hope you enjoy it.
Sunday (Nov. 19)
Welp, this was a dead day… Fitting for Sunday, I guess. Anyway, here’s a funny review. If you’ve read Annie’s roast on Sakura Beach, then get ready for Suck my Dick or Die!
And this was it for this week! You can also find this on my blog.
See you next week—I’ll post every Monday, from here on out! Our Patreon supporters will get these earlier on Sunday, so make sure to support us too!
If you enjoy our work, please follow us on Twitter for more visual novel content and join the community in our forums and discord server: we’re pretty active there!
In addition, you can also support us on Patreon or by buying us a Ko-fi.
This is very helpful! I don’t often have the time to follow all the news every day, especially with how much news the twitter account tweets/retweets, so having a retrospective every week or two would be great!
Is there a way I could get this in an email? I do have an RSS Reader but I don’t always open it compared to my emails…
