Da Capo remake D.C. Re:tune ~Da Capo Re:tune~

Japanese developer CIRCUS announced at the Bushiroad New Year Grand Presentation 2025, a remake of the first Da Capo game which was initially released over 20 years ago in 2002 under the name D.C. ~Da Capo~.

The new remake goes by the name D.C. Re:tune ~Da Capo Re:tune~ and offers, apart from revised graphics, character sprites and sounds, also a slightly revised character cast by introducing a new character: Fuuki (voiced by Hikaru Tohno). Circus’ publisher Bushiroad released a promotion video on YouTube, presenting character sprite and voice acting samples.

Since its initial release in 2002, Da Capo turned into a entire series of games of which D.C.5 ~Da Capo 5~ (2002) is the latest one. Three of them, DC I, DC II and DC III, even got a Anime adaptions. Da Capo I, Da Capo II, Da Capo III as well as Da Capo Innocent Finale and the Da Capo-related D.S. Dal Segno are officially available in English by MangaGamer and available over at MangaGamer store.

Currently there are no known plans to translate Da Capo 4, 5 or the the new remake into English. Its also still not clear when D.C. Re:tune ~Da Capo Re:tune~ will be released in Japan.
