The fan translation for the short and cute A Sky Full of Stars: Interstellar Focus is almost here! This is a side story to A Sky Full of Stars (translated by MoeNovel.)
As of April 26th, the game is 100% translated and 89.6% edited, with the release date of July 7th.
This project started through Discord with NostraBlue as the translator, alonesome as the editor, and superange128 as the QA tester.
There’s another entry to this series, a fandisc called A Sky Full of Stars -Fine Days- (translated by Alka Translations), released in English in 2020.
One different aspect to this title is the Quiz feature. These quizzes are related to astronomy and if you fail your three chances, it’s game over. If you answer them correctly, however, you’ll get an epilogue scene as well as some extra CGs.
Story
The three childhood friends, Hikari, Saya, and Akito are forced to take a closer look at their relationship after a statement by Hikari on Tanabata. This is a ‘what if’ story, where no one became lovers by their Senior Year.
During the last summer vacation before college exams, Akito is offered the chance to become the caretaker of an old-style empty Japanese house that doesn’t have anyone living in it. As the house will quickly fall into disrepair if left empty, Akito is asked to live there and maintain it. He would be paid for it, and it would be easier for him to concentrate on studying for his exams.
Naturally, Saya starts coming to the house to help Akito with his studies, and Hikari soon joins them. At night, the girls stay over to watch the stars together and at some point they end up living together.
And, as time passes, their relationship…

Sorami Akito

A member of the astronomy club, but unwilling to look at the sky. For that reason, he’s called the astronomer who never looks at the stars.
The only reason why he joined the club was so he could use the club room as a place to sleep. He’s currently the only member.
When he was a child, he first became interested in the stars when he and Hikari looked at the moon through the telescope his father had bought him.
Not long after, Saya joined them to form a trio travelling the world of the stars.
However, that all came to an end when Hikari’s family moved away.
After Hikari was gone, he and Saya also grew distant, and Akito decided he would no longer look at the stars.
Some years later, Akito met Saya again at school, and they became like old friends again.
While working part-time at the convenience store owned by his former teacher’s family, he spends his days mounting climbing.
There’s nothing he loves more than a cup of instant coffee while watching the sun rise from atop a mountain.

A pretty girl with two different colored eyes, one a brilliant blue, and the other a yellow-orange. After seeing how she dutifully brings things for Akito when he starts sleeping in the astronomy club room, the other students begin calling her his “commuter wife”.
She transferred to Akito’s school when they were kids, and everyone was talking about the pretty girl who moved from the city.
At the time, she had a complex about her eyes, and always tried to hide them with sunglasses. But then, she became friends with Akito and Hikari, and began stargazing with them.
Studious and serious, she gives off an aura of seeming mature for her age, but that’s actually an act, she’s actually a bit clumsy and people often feel the sudden urge to take care of her.
She’s shy and quiet around new people. It’s only when she’s near Akito that she can forget everyone around her and be herself.

By then, tomboyish country girl Hikari had grown into a cute and stylish teenager
